Attendance & Punctuality

It is very important that your child attends school every day unless they are sick. If your child regularly misses school, they will get behind with their learning.

Please make sure your child is at school by 8:30am. It is important that your child gets to school on time so they can prepare for the day and be ready to start learning as soon as the bell goes at 8:45am.

Absence

When a child is absent, their parent or caregiver needs to contact the school office. You can phone (09) 625 9531 and leave a message or send us an email or text via the school app. Please do this before 8:30am.

Medical Certificates

If your child is absent for three days or more, please provide a medical certificate to the school office.

Late

Any child who arrives at school after the 8:45am bell needs to go to the office to sign in before going to class.

Leaving early

If you need to pick up your child early, please contact the office and sign him/her out at the office at the time of pick up. Give the leave pass to your child's teacher when collecting your child from the classroom.

Overseas travel

Before going overseas, parents need to write to the principal informing of the time their child will be away from school. This absence will be recorded as explained and unjustified.
