Attendance

It is very important that your child attends school every day, unless they are sick. If your child regularly misses school, they will get behind with their school work.

School starts at 8.50am so please make sure your child is at school by 8.30am. It is important that your child gets to school on time so they can prepare for the day and be ready to start learning as soon as the bell goes. 

Absence

When children are absent, their parent or caregver needs to contact the school office to explain why.  You can phone (09)625-9531 and leave a message or text  021-002-5240.  Please do this before 9am. 

Medical

Children who are absent for three days or more need to provide a medical certificate to the school office.

Late

Children who arrive to school after the 8.50am bell need take an office late pass to their teacher.

Leaving early

Parents must sign their children out at the office, and collect a leave pass for the teacher before collecting their child from the classroom.

Overseas travel

Before going overseas, parents need to write to the Principal requesting time away from school for their child.  You need to include the dates of absence and where and why you are going overseas.
