Cloaks Project28 Oct 2011
Room 4 students are working on a special arts project that we are calling ‘The Cloaks Project”. We are fortunate to have a class working with Elizabeth Whiting (designer) and Fiona Graham (writer).
The children are all making their own cloak made from calico and the finished cloak will show their sense of belonging along with their wider family and what is important to them. The children will show their cloaks at a performance at the TelstraClear Stadium on October 28. This performance will be a parade of the children wearing their cloak with video clips of the children telling the story of their cloak. This is part of the Southside Arts Festival and once again we are very fortunate to have arts experts working with our students and teachers.
